Tuncel Kurtiz was born in 1936, Izmit-Turkey. He graduated from Istanbul University, English Language and Literature and started acting in 1956 with Dormen Theatre.
With the movie 'Suru', he reached the peak of his acting career. Kurtiz received many awards in Turkey and also abroad.
