Julie Condra was born in Winters, Texas and lived there until the age of 9 when the family moved to San Antonio, Texas. At the age of 9, she began modeling and appeared in local TV commercials.She was crowned Miss Texas Teen at 14 when she also began her acting career.
She moved to LA at age 16 and she soon started landing roles in movies and TV series.
