Born and raised in Troy, MI, Torey Adkins started his acting career in Chicago where he lived for 9 years. He was an All-State football player for Troy High School and captain of the team his senior year.
In 1994 he helped lead his team to the school's only state football championship. Besides acting he is a professional comedian.
