His father Maurice Coates was the foundering member of the hit Philadelphia R&B Group Brenda & the Tabulations of the late 60's. In 1996 Joshua attended the Philadelphia High School of Creative and performing Arts, learning the art of film making and theater production.
Over the years he has perfected a unique style of story telling, combining a mixture of faith and sci fi.
In 2008 Joshua formed a production company 20/20 Visions Entertainment Group that specializes in story development, scripting, distribution, casting and film financing.
Mr.
Coates has successfully worked and partnered with some of the biggest stars, distributors, and executives (television and film) in the entertainment industry, because of his experience in the industry, Mr.
Coates has access to significant talent and producers for each of the Company's films once funding is finalized. 20/20 Visions Entertainment Group has a number of film projects in cue and will begin producing them pending completion of their further development, and pending the finalization of their funding commitments.
